Kandi cuff patterns

Give the whole band a design. Explore detailed colour panels, then smaller bands and repeat motifs. Use the chart dimensions to plan the fit with your chosen stitch.

Full-panel colour designs

Plan the whole band

Choose a complete colour layout, then check its width, join and fit using your chosen stitch. Open any design for its chart and exact colour counts.

Letters in the bead tables are internal chart symbols, not official colour numbers. Screen colours are approximate; compare your own beads.

Smaller bands & repeat motifs

The smaller charts below are nine or eighteen columns wide. All designs on this page use square colour grids; they do not model stitch offsets, thread paths or finished wrist size.

Choose the chart height for your design, then follow a tutorial for the stitch you plan to use. Physical bead proportions and tension affect the finished height.

How many repeats go around?

Count motif repeats in chart columns. Two nine-column repeats use eighteen chart positions; any extra background belongs in your design and material count.

The eighteen-column bands can be used as panels or repeated. Check the join and fit with your own materials before stringing the whole design.

The kandi cuff calculator gives a rough bead estimate. Prepare string according to your stitch tutorial. To make your own kandi pattern at cuff size, choose a chart height and use your test strip to plan repeats and width. More single motifs live in the kandi patterns library.
